My Lost Dream

My Lost Dream

When I was a child, I dreamt of you
Sweet, warm, loving arms embracing me.
When I was a child, I saw you
Smile so beautiful, eyes so perfect looking at me.

Your life was my life
Your soul my soul
Your joy and your pain
All shared with me.

But time separated us
Made us forget each other
I cried and cried
I don't know why I was sad.

I continued to dream of you
'Till I didn't know you
How did you look?
Who were you?

Then we met again
First time I saw you,
I knew it was you
We met again.

But that time, I know I lost you
That moment, I know you forgot me.
Would you even remember me?
Do you know that I've cried for you?

You are now happy
I am sad
You will always be my own and
My lost dream…

From the eternal past
To the eternal future
I love you very much.
